Data visualization that reveals patterns in complex systems

Overview

Prism is a data visualization platform designed for analysts and operators working with complex, interconnected data. It helps surface meaningful patterns without requiring extensive data engineering or specialized visualization skills. The focus is on making exploration intuitive and discovery efficient.

Using AI to suggest relevant visualizations and highlight anomalies, Prism accelerates the process of understanding what's happening in your data. It's built for people who need answers from data but shouldn't have to become data scientists to get them.

Problem Space

Organizations generate vast amounts of operational data, but translating that data into actionable insights remains difficult. Traditional business intelligence tools require significant setup and specialized knowledge. Analysts spend more time wrangling data and building dashboards than actually analyzing patterns and answering questions.

Prism addresses this by providing intelligent visualization that adapts to the data and the questions being asked. The system handles the technical complexity of choosing appropriate visualizations and statistical approaches, letting users focus on interpretation and decision-making.

Core Capabilities

Adaptive Visualization

AI-powered visualization selection that automatically chooses appropriate chart types based on data structure and analysis goals.

Pattern Detection

Automated identification of trends, outliers, and correlations across multi-dimensional data sets.

Interactive Exploration

Fluid drill-down and filtering capabilities that make exploring complex data feel natural and responsive.

Contextual Insights

Smart annotations and explanations that help interpret visualizations without requiring statistical expertise.

Current Status

Prism is in early conceptual development. We're researching how analysts currently work with data visualization tools, identifying friction points, and exploring how AI can meaningfully improve the exploration process. This research phase is essential to building something genuinely useful rather than yet another chart builder.

We're focused on understanding the fundamental problems before committing to specific solutions. Development has not begun, and the product is not expected to be available in the near term.
